For cattle over 700 lbs., feed 0.5 mgs./lb of body weight daily. (Example, 1000 lb animal needs 500 mg or 1 lb of feed/day; a 1500 lb animal needs 750 mg or 1.50 lb of feed/day). The feeders or bunks should be covered to protect feed from rainfall. This feed is a supplemental feed to furnish nutrients lacking in pastures or poor quality roughages. Cattle will consume more water with this Range Mix, have ample water and roughage available at all times.
