BIG V DOG FOODS may be fed moist or dry. When dry feeding, a good supply of fresh, clean water should be available at all times. To feed moist, moisten with warm water. Do not soak.

Adult Dogs

Feed once daily for average pet activity. For best results, refer to the chart below.

Dog Size       Dog Weight                 Daily Feeding

Toy         3 to 12 pounds        1/2 to 2 cups (8 oz. cup)

Small      12 to 25 pounds       2 to 4 cups (8 oz. cup)

Medium   25 to 50 pounds       4 to 8 cups (8 oz. cup)

Large      50 to 100 pounds     8 to 12 cups (8 oz. cup)

Growing Pups

Feed pups up to 6 months of age all the moistened feed they will eat at intervals during the day. If fed dry, leave food before them at all times. A good supply of clean, fresh water should be available at all times.

Weaning Pups

Start as soon as pups begin chewing solid materials (usually 3 to 4 weeks of age). Many pups prefer dry, which helps to promote healthy teeth and gums.
