FEEDING DIRECTIONS:
One pound of 20% Range Meal contains 500 mgs. of Chlortetracycline.
For cattle under 700 lbs., feed 350 mgs./head/day (0.70 lbs. of feed).. For
cattle over 700 lbs., feed 0.5 mgs./lb of body weight daily. (Example, 1000
lb animal needs 500 mg or 1 lb of feed/day; a 1500 lb animal needs 750
mg or 1.50 lb of feed/day). The feeders or bunks should be covered to
protect feed from rainfall. This feed is a supplemental feed to furnish
nutrients lacking in pastures or poor quality roughages. Cattle will
consume more water with this Range Mix, have ample water and
roughage available at all times.
WARNING: A withdrawal period has not been established
for this product in preruminating calves. Do not use in
calves to be processed for veal.
