MEDICATED
For increased rate of weight gain in pasture cattle and for control of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria bovis and Eimeria zuernii in pasture cattle (slaughter, stocker, feeder cattle and dairy and neef replacement heifers).
For increased rate of weight gain: Thoroughly mix 500 lbs of Veemin Wheat Pasture Mineral B-1440 with 1,500 lbs of non-medicated feed. Feed one pound of this medicated mixture to supply 180 mg lasalocid. Cattle should receive no less than 60mg nor more than 300 mg lasalocid per head daily, in at least 1 lb of feed, for the stated drug claim. INDICATIONS FOR USE: Intake of Lasalocid in excess of 200 mg/head/day have not been shown to be more effective than 200/mg/head/day. For control of coccidiosis: Thoroughly mix Veemin Wheat Pasture Mineral B-1440 with non-medicated feed as indicated in the table below. Cattle should receive 1 mg lasalocid per 2.2 lbs (1 kg) bodyweight per day for the stated drug claim. Hand feed to cattle weight up to 400 lb with a maximum of 180 mg lasalocid per head daily.

Provide clean, fresh water to all animals at all times. CAUTION: Follow label directions. The safety of lasalocid for use in unapproved species has not been established. Do not allow horses or other equines access to feed containing lasalocid, as ingestion may be fatal. Mix thoroughly with grain and/or roughage prior to feeding, Feeding undiluted or mixing errors may result in an excess lasalocid concentration that could be fatal to cattle and sheep. Consumption of selenium should not exceed 3 gm per head daily. WARNING: A withdrawal period has not been established for this product to pre-ruminating cattle. Do not us in calves to be processed for veal. This product, which contains added copper, should not be fed to sheep or any species with a low tolerance to supplemental copper. This product was made in a feed manufacturing facility that does not handle or store products containing animal proteins prohibited in ruminant feed.
