Feeding Directions

Cattle: -For reduction of liver condemnation due to liver abscesses for growing cattle over 400 lb., feed 70 mg/head / day CTC (0.0175 lb. 4 gram). -For control of bacterial pneumonia associated with shipping fever complex caused by pasteurella spp. susceptible to Chlortetracycline for beef cattle, and control of active infection of anaplasmosis caused by Anaplasma marginale susceptible to Chlortetracycline for beef cattle under 700 lb., feed 350 mg/head/day CTC (0.0875 lb. 4 gram). -For control of active infection of anaplasmosis caused by Anaplasma marginale susceptible to Chlortetracycline for beef cattle over 700 lb., feed 0.5 mg/lb. of body weight/day CTC (0.000125 lb. 4 gram). -For treatment of bacterial enteritis caused by Escherichia coli and bacterial pneumonia caused by Pasteurella multocida organisms susceptible to Chlortetracycline for calves, beef and non-lactating dairy cattle feed 10.0 mg/lb. body weight / day CTC (0.0025 lb. 4 gram). Feed for not more than 5 days. Sheep: -For reducing the incidence of (vibrionic) abortion caused by Campylobacter fetus infection susceptible to Chlortetracycine for breeding sheep feed 80 mg/head/day CTC (0.02 lb. 4 gram). Swine: -For reducing the incidence of cervical lymphadentis (jowl abscesses) caused by Group E. Streptococci susceptible to Chlortetracycline for swine feed 50-100 grams CTC/ton feed (12.5-25.0 lb. 4 gram). -For control of leptospirosis (reducing the incidence of abortion and shedding of Leptospirae) caused by Leptospira pomona susceptible to Chlortetracycline for breeding swine feed 400 grams CTC/ton feed (100 lb. 4 gram). Feed continuously for not more than 14 days. -For control of porcine proliferative enteropathies(ileitis) caused by Lawsonia intracellularis susceptible to chlortetracycline. Treatment of bacterial enteritis caused by Escherichia coli and Salmonella choleraesuis and bacterial pneumonia caused by Pasteurella multocida susceptible to chlortetracycline for swine feed 10 mg/lb. body weight/ day CTC (0.0025 lb. 4 gram). Feed continuously for not more than 14 days. Feed approximately 400 g/ton , varying with bodyweight and feed consumption to provide 10 mg/lb. of bodyweight day.
